The company has been Founded in 1934, nearly a decade ago by Friedrich Wilhelm Schwing in Germany. In passing years, Schwing Group revolutionized construction with high-pressure concrete pumps and truck-mounted mixers and became one of the leaders in the Industry. In 1957, Schwing introduced the first oil-hydraulic two-cylinder concrete pump, establishing its role as a global leader in concrete machinery, eventually acquiring Stetter GmbH in 1982.

History of Schwing:
• 1934: Friedrich W. Schwing founds the company focusing on construction equipment.
• 1957: Development of the world's first oil-hydraulic, twin-cylinder concrete pump.
• 1965: Launch of the first truck-mounted concrete pump.
• 1968: Introduction of concrete pumps with folding distribution masts.
• 1973: Innovation in high-speed concrete pump vehicles with 45-meter booms.
• 1982: Acquisition of Stetter GmbH, a manufacturer of truck mixers, forming the Schwing-Stetter Group, a leader in concrete handling.
• 1990s-Present: Continued expansion, including the development of VECTOR controls and specialized, stable SX outriggers for pumps.
